GUZMAN Y GOMEZ (BUCKTOWN)

Every location of Guzman Y Gomez Mexican Kitchen has a distinctive, branded look that makes it both famliar to returning guests and enticing to new ones. For its first location in the city of Chicago, GYG enlisted Vero Design + Build to custom fabricate its signature restaurant design features: steel mesh display walls, custom furniture pieces, and corrugated metal paneling in GYG’s signature vivid yellow. Vero also crafted custom drum shades for the restaurant’s ceiling lights from corrugated metal - each one powder-coated in yellow to match the decor and GYG logo and branding. Vero even gave the ceiling a special GYG treatment, with wood paneling and beams that surround an integrated plant feature with lush hanging ivy and vines.
