EAVES

Located within Chicago's iconic Lyric Opera House, Eaves is a Southern European-inspired cocktail bar and bistro that seamlessly blends contemporary hospitality with historic architecture. Vero Design + Build served as general contractor for the project, helping transform the space while preserving the character and craftsmanship of one of Chicago's most celebrated landmarks.

In addition to construction services, Vero crafted extensive custom millwork that integrates beautifully with the venue's original decorative eaves, which inspired the restaurant's name. Custom millwork elements include the bar, bar back, wainscoting, ceiling panels, and shelving, all designed to complement the existing architecture while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The project highlights Vero's expertise in hospitality construction, custom fabrication, and the thoughtful renovation of historic spaces.
